Plain text Version.
Be sure to include a plain text version of your email as well - not all email clients can handle html or images.

Sending in html.
If a subscriber cannot receive html they will automatically receive the text version. If you are only going to send out plain text emails then ignore the html option.

You would typically create the html email in a text editor and copy and paste into the html field. If you are using the same layout consistently consider setting up a template first (a saved header and footer).

Personalization.
Any fields you have in your database such as first name and email address can be inserted here anywhere in the email.
